I think I got dehydrated yesterday. Normally I drink a *lot* of water — between 150 and 200 oz per day. But yesterday I was in the car for 6 (3 up, 3 down) hours on a road trip, and then spent some time at a vendor’s plant, then detoured at a disc golf course on the way home. I didn’t drink anything but a 16-oz cappuccino between 7:30 AM and 3 PM. Bad idea, especially since it was so hot out. Worst sign: at around 3P I consumed about 64 fl. oz. of stuff (16 oz water, 16 oz Gatorade) and nature didn’t call me until about 4 hours later.
I never stopped sweating, but when I got home I was much more tired than I should have been. And I woke up this morning feeling really blah. Lesson learned: don’t skip the water. Ever. Not even for 8 hours (of active time). Today I’m on my 8th 16-oz glass already. I usually have about 2 32-oz glasses after I get home, so I should be good to go!
